The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, has reported that through the efforts and the coordinated work of the first mayors of the region, on Wednesday, April 21, the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Regional Assembly submitted a motion urging the National Government to carry out works on the third lane of the A-7 from the town of Alhama de Murcia to Puerto Lumbreras.
Martínez Andreo explained that for a long time the mayors of the four municipalities have chosen these works are carried out and not only is the extension of the third lane to the neighboring town of Alhama.
In this regard, said that the Mediterranean Expressway is a vital communications hub for the Region of Murcia, which is currently heavily congested in the Alicante stretch-Puerto Lumbreras.
