The Department of Culture programming continues with films being screened at the Performing Arts Hall (Cinema Velasco) of the town with the latest film for all tastes and ages at the price of 3 euros per ticket.
The film program includes the screening of children's film "Arthur and the Minimoys 2" and "Invictus", coming this weekend to the big screen cinema in the town and will be screened on Saturday April 10 and Sunday 11 April in two passes, at 17:00 hours and 19:30 hours respectively.
"Invictus"
The film "Invictus," directed by Clint Eastwood, is based on John Carlin's book "The Human Factor" and set after Nelson Mandela's release from prison and became president of South Africa.
Soon after, in 1995 the country held the world championship of rugby, after years of being excluded from competition because of apartheid.
Event Mandela (Morgan Freeman) promoted and used, with the help of the rugby star Francois Pienaar (Matt Damon), as a way to end the hatred and distrust for decades between the white and black population of the country.
"Arthur and the Minimoys 2"
Arthur is beside himself with joy: finally passed ten moon cycles required to return to the land of the Minimoys.
His dream is to return soon and reunited with the lovely Selena.
However, the road will be more complicated than imagined.
The evil emperor Maltazard will put a thousand and one obstacles in this action adventure shot with both real and animated image in three dimensions.
