The students of the course "Early Childhood Education Assistant, organized by the Department of Economic Development and Employment Promotion, recently visited the Municipal School Children" Carmen Baró "in order to implement some knowledge acquired during this training activity.

This course, which is cofinanced by the European Social Fund, is being held in the Local Development Centre from February 24 and runs through May 27

The students with the instructor, prepared the visit by selecting and testing of a song "Twist of the body, with the aim of putting the scene together with children from school.

The director of the Center welcomed the students and taught and explained the various facilities of the same.

Then in small groups went to different classrooms where the mentors of the same, they were explaining the different practices and methods used in the classroom.

The director as well as tutors, were offered to the students who were integrated into the dynamics of class, and they were just one of them.

Some of the tasks that these students worked in the nursery school teaching during the visit were the realization of different games (songs, puzzles, ...), lunch and shower room, games in the yard, cleaning and food preparation, food and toilet and break time.

By late morning, the students and the instructor who accompanied them, said goodbye to the children as well as the different tutors in the classrooms and the director, giving the visit a pleasant climate and satisfying.

The students were very happy for the work they had done, because some of them, was the first time they had the first direct contact with children as a nursery school and all that this entails.

From the same Department are offering group training activities aimed at the unemployed and workers in employment related to the kitchen, computer, work risks or English, among others.
