The Ministry of Regional Policy gives the nod to the 25 projects submitted by the city of Totana (17/03/2010)

The Ministry of Planning Policy has given the nod to the 25 projects submitted by the City of Totana to be financed by the State Fund for Employment and Sustainability with an amount of 3,132,518 euros.

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, recalled that the projects will generate approximately 160 jobs to be attended by 35 companies for execution.

The investment for this plan has been for infrastructure works and the amount of 2,582,518 euros, and the remaining 600,000 euros will be allocated to current expenditures, education and social policy.

On the one hand, in the section of works and infrastructure includes a total of 20 major projects, which have been distributed geographically as possible, as explained by City Councilman, from 8 neighborhoods and districts such as La Sierra, Raiguero, Lebor, Paretón, San Jose, San Francisco, Parral and Los Frailes, among others.

The block of sports facilities for an amount of EUR 438,606 provides for the reform of municipal sports center "December 6" with the placement of natural grass football field with an amount of 84,931 euros and the covering of the sports of sports with a budget of 206,664 euros.

In addition, it will build the arena in the hamlet of Lebor, amounting to 43,391 euros and will be built tennis courts with synthetic surface Espuña Sports City with a budget of 35,160 euros and a tennis court with synthetic surface in the sports complex Guadalentín Valley "in the hamlet of El Paretón with a budget of 42,363 euros.

Also in the Sports City will also convert a normal tennis court with synthetic surface in a budget of 26,097 euros.

In terms of educational infrastructure, the Town Hall presented two projects by the amount of 1,092,988 euros, which will go to the extension of Tierno Galván College with the construction of the building for summer schools, an amount of 482,852 euros, and the expansion College of Santa Eulalia in the building of the school parents and the reform of the toilets, works with a budget of 363,776 euros, and the covering of the sports grounds of the Colegio Santa Eulalia, with a budget of 246,360 euros.
