The Department of New Technologies within the promotional campaign on Digital TV, will install tomorrow Municipal Information Point (MIP) to give citizens know what steps they have to continue to adapt your analog TV to digital since the March 23 switch-off will occur.
The information campaign directly to the neighbor began last March 5 through Digital Information Point, also located in the Plaza of the Constitution.
During the day, from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, the technicians of the Department provided information to citizens who came to the PIM.
Technical advice was given primarily to the questions that arose, and also provided relevant information leaflets and a list of authorized installers in the municipality to adapt their antennae or could solve any technical problem that prevented the reception of DTT.
The PIM has adapted to the TDT for this event, equipped with an antenna and a TV with digital TV tuner.
In the same vein, the Department of New Technologies on the same day made a speech on DTT in the Senior Center through which older people could learn in more detail all the relevant information on DTT.
On 15 March at 18:00 hours will be held another briefing at the Center on Aging and Tuesday 16 at the same time will be held at the Senior Center The Paretón.
Also, next March 17 will move to the city bus to offer information, lectures and demonstrations on DTT.
The bus will be set from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 18:30 on the side of the Church of Santiago, Plaza of the Constitution.
In addition, on March 18 from 20:30 to 21:30 there will be a lecture aimed at immigrants in the Department of Citizen Participation.
