The City Council signed an agreement with the Parish Council Cemetery Paretón-Cantareros (27/10/2009)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the chairman of the Joint Parish Cemetery Paretón-Cantarero, José Giner Crespo, better known as Father Luke, have signed a cooperation agreement to carry out rehabilitation and improvement of the cemetery.

For its part, the mayor acknowledged the work being done by the vestry and the neighborhood council in its efforts to improve religious services and those of general interest that affect all citizens of El Paretón-Cantareros.

Later, they visited the cemetery located nearby in the hamlet El Paretón, which is that services and provides a very important to the residents of the hamlet because it is buried their dead relatives and loved ones, as noted by the mayor.

During the visit, the mayor explained that they have carried out works of paving and will proceed to the planting of new trees as well as installing new water points.

In the same way they have carried out cleaning work in the vicinity of the cemetery and in the interior.

Finally, the mayor noted that the phone of the Department of Facility Management Services and the City will be available to request any information or demand any urgency on the occasion of the celebration of All Saints' Day this weekend.
