The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, the Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, and deputy director of Department of the Ministry of Education, accompanied by the Director of Secondary Education Center, Maribel Rubio de la Peña, who opened the school year in Totana Reina Sofia in the school to coincide with its 25 anniversary.

This act was last night officially opened the school year in which more than 3,500 students are trained at the eleven town centers.

Specifically, are 3161 children who are receiving training in this course at school, 1,277 in secondary education, 349 in high school, and 159 training cycles.

The Councillor for Education explained that since the municipal area is working actively to students and their families receive quality education, close and tailored to the needs of the residents of Totana.

For its part, the deputy director of Department recalled the efforts that the Ministry of Education is doing in Totana with the expansion of infrastructure and the new school will be located in the Ramblica or renovations and adaptations from other schools.

For his part, reiterated Totana Mayor of the City's ongoing commitment to education as a key factor for future personal, social work and youth and the future of the municipality.

It also reiterated its gratitude to the school community by welcoming Queen Sofia in the realization of the opening ceremony of the school year and recalled that the good work of this school, now in its 25th year, will also be recognized with the award Gold Shield Totana for his business work and his educational career.
