The Department of Culture and Tourism continues to work on developing the Tourism Promotion Plan for the town of Totana, in order to diversify the economy to continue generating wealth and meet the demand of citizens and visitors about the cultural and tourist the town is concerned.
To achieve this purpose, the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Ana Belén García, programming has raised a number of strategies that challenge is economic diversification to continue generating wealth, mainly through the development of services sectors, industry and tourism.

Also, the mayor pointed out that the town of Totana belongs to the Commonwealth Tourism Services Espuña near the towns of Aledo, Alhama, Mula and Pliego, and is part of Espuña Tourist Consortium, with the same municipalities cited above.
