Last Saturday, June 20, was held at the Centro Cultural Infanta Elena Sewer ceremony awards to the winners of the XXV International Competition of Poetry and Short Story "Jara Carrillo." The jury was composed of the following persons :
- Ana Escarabajal.

- Elena Fuentes - Director of digital literary magazine "The Wolves of Oman"
- Lola Grace, cultural journalist
- Rosa M ª García Gil - Former winner and member, as the two previous pre-selection group
- M ª José Gómez, coordinator of the event since its 1st edition.
- Patricio Pérez Fernández-Deputy Mayor of the Culture, Youth and Sewer Festival Hall.
The person invited in this year's contest was the writer Lorenzo Silva, author of numerous novels and winner, among many others, Nadal Prize in 2000.
The writer spoke on behalf of other members of the jury of his experience in this contest, and the survival of the subject of humor as a literary theme and as a way of understanding life.
All winning authors were present at this edition, which moved from different places in Spain:
- 1 Award Poetry - "Signs of backroom" Katy Parra - Totana (Murcia)
- Second Prize Poetry - "It sounds like tango, Juan Jose Velez Otero - Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz)
- 1 Prize Story: - "Sister Agnodice" by Carlos M.
Ortega - Salamanca.
- Second Prize: "Chuck, l artificial lover" by Alejandro Tejerina - Valladolid.
In this edition, to commemorate the twenty-five years of the contest, was awarded a Special Prize XXV Anniversary the story "Feculación infiltrated" by Carlos Martinez - Madrid, worth the same as the first prize.
During the ceremony, the poets read some of his poems and storytellers told us about their stories.
Ortuño Fina reading made me laugh the audience with his superb interpretation of the story won a special mention.

n º 10 of "Jara Carrillo Awards, with the winning of the last two editions.
Finally, after the words of Patrick Pérez Fernández, Deputy Mayor of the Culture, Youth and Sewer Festival Hall, which highlighted the fact that he arrived at twenty-five years of the contest and announced for the month of December 1 special event which will celebrate this important event, a video projected images of the guest writers throughout the history of the event and covers all ten books published, with the winners of all issues.
