The City Council will open a register for companies wishing to be invited for the procurement of works, supplies and (03/06/2009)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, today announced that the City will open a registry through their website, www.totana.es for companies that want to qualify to be invited to qualify for the procurement of services, municipal works and supplies negotiated without advertising.

Companies that opt to works of up to 200,000 euros and supplies up to 60,000 euros would have to insert their data so they can be invited to participate in recruitment.

Martínez Andreo has indicated that before the contract will be published works and supplies in negotiated without advertising, to all those companies that wish to be invited to submit their bids to the recruitment process.

As explained Martínez Andreo, this new formula will encourage consumption and employment in the municipality and be conducted in a transparent manner so that all companies in any industry, opting for municipal contracts with the formula for the invitation .

In addition, Martínez Andreo explained that the guarantees (2 percent), which until now were essential as a prerequisite to qualify for government procurement for companies that choose to tender shall not be submitted and will only have to do those mercantile service to be awarded the work or supply.
