Psychosocial Support Services of the City of Totana, has organized an outlet to the Environmental Education Center "Torre Guil CEMACAM", supported by funds from the CAM (Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo).
This time users of SAP, were accompanied by a group of students from the Occupational Center, which joined this formative experience.
Torre Guil CEMACAM is located in the hamlet of Murcia Sangonera La Verde bordering Carrascoy Regional Park.
One of the objectives of this Center is to foster a participatory environmental education, why is offering a series of workshops and training.
Participants performed the "Workshop of health, hygiene and cosmetics with natural products, which discovered the advantages of natural products as an alternative, both for household cleaning and personal hygiene; also produced creams and natural remedies: homemade soap , nourishing night cream, facial mask, anti-cellulite cream.
Completed the workshops, toured the center, which allowed them to see the facilities and architectural design of this site based on criteria of bioclimatic architecture and energy savings.
Another highlight of the day was the lunch, which tasted a delicious buffet and shared laughs and experiences.
All participants appreciated the good treatment and the interest shown to the group.
Psychosocial Support Services is very pleased with this output shared with the Center for Occupational and hope to repeat the experience.
