The first projects of the Works and Services Plan (POS) 2008, conducted by the Department of Planning and Sustainable Development in the streets of San Francisco de Asis and street El Salvador completed this week, in the absence of asphalt, according to informed the council of Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia.

As the mayor explained, these works were intended to consolidate the various neighborhoods of Totana, to make the best and in optimal conditions commonly used public space.
The POS 2008 was funded by the Ministry of the Presidency of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, with 521,579 euros and 57,950 euros municipal contribution.
Bedia has indicated that the other works included in the program will begin next week.
In this regard, he explained that subsequently replaced the sidewalks of Calle Virgen del Castillo and the cobbled street and Barranco Rodenas, amounting to 90,750 euros, and simultaneously carry out the works in the Star Street, Father Melchior Benisa and Tinajerías, referred to in the projects financed with state funds for local investment.
Once completed the same, replaced the sidewalks and general street and UVic Antonio Garrigues, amounting to 70,700 euros, and then the road Bolivia with an amount of 113,133 euros; those.
In addition, the council has stressed that also will start work in the ways of Hornico and New Way (from the sewage to the river Guadalentín).
