We present the new magazine on equality "Unisex " (16/04/2009)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, and the president of the Association of Business and Professional Women Totana (AMEP), Josefina García Crespo, presented the new magazine about equal "UNISEX" in a public ceremony held in the Socio-Cultural Center "La Carcel" Totana.

This magazine, explained the president of the Association, founded with the aim of promoting the participation of women in mainstream economic and social development in order to "demonstrate to society that should be left parked gender stereotypes and roles that have prevailed in the past. "

This journal, sponsored by the association, has been developed under a grant from the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the city of Totana.

Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, which has collaborated with his testimony of women, politics and teacher, as a mediator of work and family life, expressed his appreciation and desire to continue to support initiatives of this kind, that invite reflection through the various testimonies to be found in the magazine and stressed the need to continue working toward a real and effective equality, for what is necessary and important, not only political will but social sensitivity to these issues. It also encouraged women to participate in the workforce, political, economic and social development of Totana and continue working on the same line.
