The Regional Final School "Playing athletics" in juvenile category, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports City of Totana, took place last week in the town where more than 400 schools across the region of Murcia.
Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáńez" hosted the men's competition, while the School Board held the women's competition.
Teams from different schools participating were composed of five students, and tests were needed to overcome lateral jump, long jump, javelin, shot put speed and, additionally, that subsequently participate in a relay race .
From the Sports Council have highlighted the large totanera participation in this regional final, with three teams in the men's teams and four women, belonging to schools Santiago, Reina Sofia and Regional Tierno Galván.
In total, Thirty-five schools in Totana.
The competition ended with the trophy for the first three centers classified by the City Council of Sports City of Totana, José Antonio Valverde Queen, Head of Sports Department of Sports Department of the Region of Murcia, Eduardo Segarra Vicens.
The champions were schools of Mula Crucified Christ College and College of Our Lady of Loreton in the ways male and female respectively.
