The Department of Sports organized last weekend at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáńez" Day of "Playing athletics", part of the School Sports Programme, which included the participation of 222 schools at all centers Totana teaching of baby and juvenile categories.
Throughout the afternoon, the participating schools had the opportunity to practice various sports, such as the lateral jump, long jump, throwing the ball, javelin and sprint.
The day concluded with the presentation of trophies to the top three finishers in each category, both in the men and women, which was also present Athletic Club, who has collaborated with the Department for the development of this activity.
The final winners were Adrian Zamora (Colegio "Reina Sofia") in youngest male category; Alborada Cano (Colegio "Tierno Galván") in female baby, Antonio Sánchez (Colegio "Reina Sofia") in juvenile male, and Sofia Mecca (Order "Santiago") in juvenile female.
Moreover, the three highest ranked schools in this conference have the opportunity to participate in the Regional Final of "Playing athletics", organized by the Directorate General of Sports, part of the School Championship Murcia, which will take place precisely this year in Totana, on Wednesday March 25 at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáńez, juvenile male category, and the School Board, the juvenile female category.
