More than one million euros to complete the excavation and research on the site Argaric La Bastide de Totana (06/03/2009)

Murcia The Executive has approved a grant to the Autonomous University of Barcelona in the amount of 1,182,396 euros for the excavation and research of the site Argárica of La Bastida, in Totana, to put it into use as a museum to the archaeological remains are visited.

The project was completed with the creation of a Research Institute based in Mediterranean Prehistory Museum of La Bastida and collaboration of British universities (Cambridge, Oxford and Reading), Germany (Stuttgart and Bochum) and the state of Arizona, among others.

The village Argaric Cabezo de La Bastida de Totana, declared of Cultural Interest in 2005 with the rank of archaeological site is located next to the Rambla de Lebor in the town of Totana and is part of the plenary stage of the Bronze culture the Argar.
