The Department of Social Welfare through the Municipal Immigration Service has organized the I Fotomaratón "We All" which aims to promote greater acceptance of ethnic and cultural diversity among the population and whose deadline for submission of papers ends on Saturday 18 October.
To be eligible persons concerned will have to register on the Social Services Centre II, located on Calle Santiago No. 1 (behind the church) and must submit a photocopy of the ID number or passport along with the original and the awarded a camera, to be delivered before the end of the contest and the registration period will remain open until depletion of existing cameras.
The theme refers to the ethnic and cultural diversity based in Totana, as well as events organized to mark the "Intercultural October."
Ethnic diversity is understood as the different people living in the city, from different countries and continents.
Means cultural diversity as expressed by language, religious beliefs, work, art, music, social structure, diet and any conceivable number of other attributes of human society.
This, from the perspective of the different spheres of social life (education, employment, health, participatory, etc.)..
All photos will be done with the camera one-to be delivered when you sign up for the contest.
The deadline for submission / receipt of the cameras will be next November 18, 2008 and awarded only one prize will be a digital camera.
The awards will take place during a ceremony where the selected works will be displayed and will develop in time and place will be announced promptly by the City Council website and notice board of the Center Social Services II.
