The Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia Navarro, has released a proposal outlining its municipal department plenary to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, for the approval of seven technical projects in the works include Works and Services Plan (POS) for the year 2009, an amount in excess of 579,000 euros to be invested in the regeneration of streets, roads and general neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.
This plan reflects the suggestions of the various municipal groups, the different municipal councils and the technical and social needs identified by the mayors, headman and neighborhood associations, and priorities for urban infrastructure that have been deemed to qualify Works Plans and Services for the year 2009, as noted Bedia Navarro, who in turn thanked them all for their particpaicón and collaboration.
Also, the mayor explained that this request, once approved by Parliament, shall be forwarded to the Directorate General of Local Government, to be included in the plans of cooperation.
The actions included in the POS refers to the replacement of sidewalks and utilities in the streets of Merida City, Servet Federico and Maria Fernanda Carmona, Phase I, for an amount of 63,477.90 euros.
It also includes the replacement of sidewalks and utilities in the street Antonio Garrigues (phase II) for an amount of 84,696.19 euros.
The proceedings also include the refurbishment of the promenade of Avenida Rambla de la Santa (Phase I) for a budget de136.291, 09 euros, and the works of replacing sidewalks and utilities in the streets and the Gulf of Valencia Bolnuevo worth 72,169.20 euros.
The POS is also paving the way Sies (phase I) for an amount of EUR 140,592.51 and the paving of the road of Mazarron with a budget of EUR 81,773.11 and paving the way to the rooms by 79,934, 29 euros.
The total budget for Works and Services Plan for 2009 amounts to a figure of 579,000 euros, of which EUR 521,580 funded Autonomous Community and the Consistory totanero contribute the remaining $ 57,953 will be included in the budget for the next municipal year.
