The councilman of Culture, Ana Belen Garcia presented an extensive program of activities for the first semester of the academic year 2008/09, which will be held at People's University of Totana, and which includes a total of 12 courses from different areas expression, knowledge, information and photography, which will start from next October 14.
Registration for the courses offered by the Department of Culture, through the People's University will be held Monday Thursday, from September 29 to October 2 at the offices of Socio-Cultural Center "The Jail" from 10:00 hours 14:00 hours and 17:00 hours to 20:00 hours.
The mayor explained that the sector, according to standards established by the Universidad Popular de Totana, it will be necessary to have a minimum number of students enrolled per course and have at least 16 years of age.
He noted that all applications for registration made after the deadline are based on seat availability or be considered on a waiting list.
The courses have a fee of 35 euros, excluding courses in digital photography, memory training, self-esteem and Computer Science course, which is free.
In the other scheduled activities, ongoing registration agrees to pay tuition.
The councilman of Culture said that once the activity has started, no refunds will be paid under any circumstances or situation.
The courses are scheduled Embroidery, Cooking, Tailoring, Computer Crafts, Digital Photography, Music (guitar, lute, mandolin and acoustic bass), Painting, Memory Training, Improved self-esteem, good food workshop and Theatre.
