The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, accompanied by the councilman of Crafts and Trade, Isabel Maria Sanchez, has signed this morning the renewal of the City Council that has the Craft Technology Centre in the Region of Murcia (CTA) to joint implementation of measures to enable the development, promotion and development of handicrafts sector and in turn serve as activators of the town's economy.
To this end, the mayor has signed an agreement with the president of CTA, Andreo Bartolomé Bellon, with a financial contribution amounting to 6,000 euros, which will be allocated to finance all these activities to the promotion of local industry.
One of the main objectives of the signing of this agreement, as stated by Martínez Andreo, is the interest of the City Council to promote activities aimed at improving and promoting the crafts sector in the municipality and the implementation of programs cooperation in the maintenance of the sector.
In this regard, he stressed that being carried out research and development to improve products and manufacturing processes, quality analysis, technical assistance and training to professionals and the dissemination of technological information, in turn, serve as activators of the town's economy.
The CTA has, among other things fundamental objective of promoting innovation and increasing the quality and thus, through the signing of this agreement, undertakes to promote the artisans the incorporation of design culture, including other things.
