Pedro Cánovas achieved in Timisoara (Romania) his first ATP title as coach.
It was in the doubles tournament where the pairing of Daniel Muñoz and Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo beat Romanian couple formed by Adrian Cruciate and Florin Mergea in three grueling sets 3 / 6, 6 / 4 11 / 9.
In addition to the individual box Daniel Munoz De La Nava managed to reach the Grand Final but after an intense game lost to the German Daniel Brands by 6 / 4 and 7 / 6.
3 months ago Peter left the School of Totana Tennis Club to train a group of 5 professional players at the Club de Campo de Alicante.
These 5 players are Santiago Ventura, Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo, Daniel Munoz De La Nava, David Marrero and J. Antonio Sanchez de Luna.
During this time Peter has been in the best tournaments in the world highlighting among others Roland Garros, Wimbledon, Lugano (Switzerland), Bordeaux (France), Scheveningen (Netherlands), Sassuolo (Italy), etc..
These tournaments include the quarter finals of Wimbledon hit by Santi Ventura next to Marcel Granollers where one could stop them the American Bryan brothers, world number 1 and winner of the tournament.
It also highlights the title won in Casablanca by Santi with Albert Montanes, the Final won by Santi in Sassuolo (Italy), Final Timisoara (Romania) won by Daniel Munoz de la Nava and the doubles title with Ruben Ramirez.
The next tournament that will involve ell U.S. Open in New York and the German tournament Freudenstadt where we want to achieve great results.
