The restoration of the shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary "in The Paretón-Cantareros, which began implementing its first phase late last year, will be inaugurated on Sunday 10 August, in the presence of municipal authorities and episcopal vicar for pastoral zone Lorca, José Antonio Abellán, within the program of events for the holidays.
The event will take place from 11:30 am, and will be presented during the same video with the restoration process, before officiating the first religious act after the actions taken.
The restoration of the chapel, a building of monumental interest, has been carried out in three phases.
In the first phase was carried out to complete rehabilitation with the restoration of the original building and implementation of a new building to integrate the parish complex according to the project drafted by the municipal architect Guerao Francisco López.
The second phase of this work called "New construction finishes," consisted in the rehabilitation of the chapel and parish halls and in the third phase proceeded to the urbanization of the area with paving and lighting.
