Qibla Totana Theatre presents today at half past ten p.m. in the Auditorium of City Park "Marcos Ortiz" "Dangerous Liaisons" by Choderlos de Laclos, a storm of vengeance, seduction, love and war, led by Antonio Saura and performed by Lola Martinez (Merteuil), Pedro Segura (Valmont), Hope Clark (Tourvel), Susi Espín (Cecile), James Espinosa (Danceny) and Angels Storekeeper (Volanges).
The staging of this work is part of the XXIV Theatre Week, organized by the Department of Culture to mark the program of festivities in Santiago.
Dangerous Liaisons shows the moral decadence of French society at the time that is developing the Revolution of 1789, but beyond the duo formed by Merteuil libertine Valmont, protagonists of the novel, Laclos shows a fierce critic of creative society and a powerful aristocratic class, of a stormy relationship and values intended to ensure the men and women to satisfy their needs and desires away from any conflict of conscience.
