The Department of Culture will distribute more than 1,000 pillows donated by a company of Totana to accommodate the neighbors during the XXIV Theatre Week to be held throughout this week in the auditorium of the Municipal Park "Marcos Ortiz."
The councilman of Culture, Ana Belén García, accompanied by municipal technicians of this department concerning the distribution of these pads and the distribution of paperbacks Microfrontera collection at more than 500 people who attended the premiere of the week theater, part of the Fiestas de Santiago program.
The book deal was done under the City Council's commitment to the campaign Totana "informal readings," developed by the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Region, through the General Directorate of Books and Libraries Archive Department Culture, Youth and Sports, in collaboration with edits "Three Frontiers", which consist in the distribution of paperbacks Microfrontera collection.
Thus, the councilman of Culture, Ana Belén García, reported that through this initiative aims to encourage reading habit among the public through the free distribution of paperback books, entertaining texts, presented in a manageable format striking, written by authors of the Region which, "is also achieved in order to promote our writers," explained the mayor.
On the other hand, the mayor, has reported that the pads reaparto will be held throughout the week and highly appreciated the cooperation and the donation by the local company.
