The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Councilman and Comprehensive Maintenance Services of the City, Sergio López, inaugurated the refurbishment works carried out in the Municipal School of Music, The Paretón, fit with the festival at the end of school year this school, which was held Saturday night in the council totanera.
The event was also attended by the Councillor for Culture, Ana Belén García, and the mayor of hamlets, Juan Pagán, as well as many residents and parents, relatives and friends of the students who staged the musical course to various performances.
The works in the building of the Old School in this parish, through the municipal warehouse staff coordinated by the Department of Facility Management Services and the City in conjunction with the contractor for implementing them have been carried out for a period of three months for an amount of 50,000 euros.
The improvements have included works of adaptation and preparation of new venues to provide music lessons tailored to the needs of audio, improved electrical, and lattice windows on the facade.
The inauguration of these works coincided with the end of the year-end party at the Municipal School of Music, The Paretón, which featured a performance of all students as well as a concert, which was conducted by the Municipal Band Music of the Paretón.
At the end of it, the mayor of Totana welcomed the enhancement of the building and by virtue of satisfying two of the commitments under this hamlet, such as the arrangement of this building and the celebration of the festival Music Band, to be held on Friday 11 July at the Plaza de la Iglesia de la Virgen del Carmen in this hamlet.
