Local Board of Public Safety agreed to the implementation of an Action Plan through a coordinated mechanism by the Guardia Civil and local police to tackle the wave of robberies that are hitting the town in recent weeks, especially in resort areas, and agricultural and livestock on the outskirts of the town of Totana.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, held a meeting Councillor for Citizen Security, Roque Molina Legaz, farmer, Livestock and hamlets, Juan Pagán, members of the Local Police and Civil Guard, and representatives of agricultural organizations, UPA and BDA, who showed their concern over robberies in the area totanero field, with the absence of representatives of COAG-Go.

Martínez Andreo said to be launching a special device in the most affected areas, which will be used for security patrols citizen and hamlets, and the rangers who work regularly with the local police also patrol surveillance whose actions will be coordinated by the Guardia Civil and Local Police.
In this regard, he stressed the effort that the City has been doing in public safety to "spare no personal or financial means" to ensure security for citizens of the municipality.
