THE DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYMENT COUNCIL MEMBERS AND WOMEN MEET WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS AND EMBROIDERY TOTANA PROFESSIONAL ISSUES THIS SECTOR (27/05/2008)

The Development and Employment councilors, Trini, Crespo Cayuela, and Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, have held a meeting recently with the new president of the Association of Business and Professional Women of Totana, Josefa García Crespo, and his predecessor in office, Laly Llamas, to address various issues of concern affecting women entrepreneurs and professionals in the municipality.

During the meeting raised the need to sign a second collaboration agreement between the municipality and the entity, once it has completed the first agreement signed, which were developed actions aimed at developing and promoting initiatives and actions related to female business world, the inclusion of women in the workplace with equal opportunities and promoting the reconciliation of work and family life, as necessary raises the signing of a second Partnership Agreement between the parties.

In addition, municipal representatives expressed the need to continue working on the promotion and dissemination of business and professional associations of women in the town of Totana, thus helping to guarantee the effective participation of women in all spheres of social life economic, political and cultural, as the ultimate goal of the policy of equal opportunities between men and women.

Among the agreements reached, which will be reflected in this second agreement, it was agreed that the City will create and provision of this Association by the Department of New Technologies, its own website, now a necessary tool for businesses, where reflect all information concerning the Association and its members, services provided and everything related to the sector in question, explained Trini Cayuela.

In turn, agreed to the publication and distribution of a magazine's own Association of Business and Professional Women, which may reflect its actions, initiatives, histories, career paths of the members as a vehicle for dissemination and promotion of the Association.

Finally, both council members expressed their satisfaction at the success achieved in this meeting with the representatives of the Association, pledging to continue looking at other initiatives and actions that are of interest in the entity and that address the need to reconcile work and family life of working women and achieving gender equality.
