Totana Town Council will constitute the Sectoral Planning Board, whose regulations were already approved unanimously initial form by the plenary at its last regular session, done in order to promote citizen participation in the field of municipal management and which is promoted by the Department of Planning, said the owner, Carlos Ballester.

The Urban Sector Council is intended as a non-binding, informative, advisory and proposal for the promotion of initiatives on urban planning and management college of the City involvement with advisory status.
This body will be integrated into the Department Head of Urbanism, which will provide technical support and structure necessary for its operation, and made for the purpose of promoting civic participation and channel information of the associated entities concerning municipal affairs this subject.

This Council will be composed of the president (mayor or delegation in the vice president), vice president (Town Planning), second vice president (Councillor for the Environment), secretary (appointed by the mayor from the municipal personnel assigned to the area of ​​Urbanism) and board members.
It will also consist of one representative of each of the political groups making up the City Council, a representative of neighborhood associations chosen among the various associations that form the village, a representative of the districts chosen from all mayors and one-pedáneos business organizations related to housing development and construction.

The new regulation includes the operation and internal system thereof, so that it will be based in the building of the Department of Planning and will meet at least once every six months on a routine basis.
The Council, in addition to the Technical Commission may set up committees and working may be either permanent or non-permanent in order to study specific issues and are study groups whose role is to develop projects, reports or opinions of their own competence .
