The educational communities of schools "Santa Eulalia" and "Queen Sofia" School held their traditional pilgrimages (04/12/2015)

The educational communities of schools "Santa Eulalia" and "Reina Sofia" School held their traditional processions, in which teachers, parents and students of the different courses are involved.

Each year, these centers organize, before the traditional festivals, a pilgrimage in honor of the patron Santa Eulalia in order to instill totaneras to smaller cultural and folk traditions.

The ceremony in honor of the patron saint of Totana, Santa Eulalia de Merida, is a pilgrimage in the vicinity of both centers, whose streets are decorated for the image of the patron.

Both have attended municipal authorities along the way to recognize the good work they have done educational communities of both schools.

The children, dressed in the red scarf as in the procession, accompanying the throne of his patron, carried by the young Brothers of the Holy.

During the event, do not miss the colorful and joy, because young pilgrims delight the audience with popular songs of the parties during the course of the procession.

Also, children accompanied by teachers, parents, and representatives of the Association of Parents, who collaborate and work in organizing the event.

Along the way he is flattered to them with a tasty lunch prepared by parents, which includes many cakes totaneros ground pepper and typical products of these special days.
