The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas and Councilman Celebration, Agustin Gonzalo Martinez presented today the program of festivities in honor of Santa Eulalia de Merida, which brings together a wide and varied range of activities of all kinds and for all public, most of which are concentrated between 4 to 13 December.

The program comes in an attractive calendar illustrated with beautiful pictures, color and detail, of places and sights of the town of Totana.

The program has a budget of 23,000 euros, 10,000 euros less than in the previous year, and 5,000 will be distributed playbill from this Wednesday at the Department of Celebration (ground floor City Hall) and the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail" of the town.

The activities officially start this weekend with the celebration of the Medieval Market;

and among the novelties of general interest include Fair Day, to be held from 4 to 8 December;

and returning Night Fair to be held in the street Santomera- from 4 to 12 December, from 20:00 to 5:00 am.

Night Fair will open with a concert by the group "Discordia" and will end with another of "The Tracks" both totaneros.

Municipal officials congratulated the municipal officers for their involvement and thanked the cooperation of all companies, groups and associations of Totana, with their promoted within the program of celebration activities, help to improve it.

They also highlighted the degree of "imagination" with which he has made to reconcile it with the budget savings compared to 2014 and stressed the participation and screening of professional groups to offer a "broad and innovative" program, such as restaurateurs, merchants and artisans, among others.

Both insisted that it is an "austere but quality" program, which has been given prominence, without fanfare, people protagonists of the people who have much to offer society.

The mayor congratulated the council of Celebration for their work and urged that this program is the majority liked by residents and visitors, while he hoped the parties develop with normality, hospitality and conviviality that characterize the town of Totana.
