The Department of Culture of the City of Totana reports presented today officially in the halls of the Gran Casino de Totana (21:00) new groups in the "Cultural Totana" initiative, promoted by the municipal department, and with which it aims to boost this area of ​​totanera society.

The creation of "Cultural Totana" operation and members initially comprise culture groups present in society, so that group members perform various cultural activities, among which a recital of poetry by Katy with musical accompaniment Parra Juan Francisco Esparza Canovas, who then perform several musical pieces.

And in parallel, attendees can enjoy a small sample-exposure of several works by different members of "Cultural Totana" about painting, drawing, handicrafts and so on.

This is a project through which citizens and sensitive concerns in the field of culture can participate and be involved in the development and programming of cultural activities.

Participants can bring, suggest, collaborate and organize activities coordinated across different work groups with various themes in the interests of the participants.

The initiative is open to all of society, and aims to revitalize and stimulate different areas of action of the cultural policy of the municipality, by involving its protagonists.

As an instrument of coordination and collaboration, they have promoted the establishment of a working group through which cultural activities will be programmed diverse.

These groups are open and can participate in all those with concerns in the field of culture.

Currently already have formed the following groups: "Fine Arts", "Cine-Teatro", "Music", "Literature", "History-Heritage" and "Traditions and Debate";

which currently has the collaboration of about twenty people.
