More than fifty residents of Totana today participated in the "March against sexist violence" held in the Gran Via in Madrid to show rejection and condemnation of male violence against women.
Among the delegation are the Councillor for Equality, Eulalia Moreno, and the councilors of the Municipal Corporation, Ana Maria Isabel Canovas and Mill, among others.
On the trip also involved the promoter of this initiative in Totana, Juan Pividal, who has managed the collaboration of a local savings bank to finance part of this initiative;
like many young people from Totana sensitive to this social problem.
Region of Murcia party buses have departed from Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, Aguilas and Moratalla.
The national march is sponsored by various feminist groups and the state itself are expected to participate actively representatives of all Spanish regions.
