Debris and appliances are the waste deposited in the municipal ecopark

The concessionaire of solid urban waste has collected nearly nine tonnes of organic municipal solid waste in the first ten months of the year, while the board is still the most recycled waste by users in the clean parts of the municipality of Totana.

According to sources from the Department of Environment, they have been removed in the organic waste containers distributed by the urban and rural areas of the municipality a total of 8,930,340 kilograms to date.

Furthermore, existing recycling points have been collected some 290,000 kilograms of cardboard-paper, of which 221,000 have been removed in the recycling centers and the remaining 56,000 have been made by the service "door to door" provided to businesses and hospitality establishments Totana.

Statistics collected by the municipal department also notes that have been recorded 55,640 kilograms of waste from street cleaning.

Municipal Ecoparque

The debris of minor works, appliances and other bulky goods are deposited in the municipal ecopark of Totana by users of this town household waste.

During the first ten months of this year in the ecopark 133 660 kilograms of debris from minor works, 59,420 of other bulky appliances, wood residues 48,230, 42,500 and 21,320 containers of contaminated vegetables from pruning were recorded.

To these figures the 14,780 kilograms of metal deposited waste, 8,120 from plastics and similar waste, paper and cardboard 2.797 add.

Are also recorded in the ecopark 13,489 kilograms of screens with cathode ray tubes, 5,056 large appliances and 4.2301 of refrigerating apparatus;

and 4,157 small electric appliances.

1,690 kilograms of waste from flat glass is also recognized;

1,160 of glass containers;

966 kilograms of paints, inks, adhesives and resins;

845 used clothing;

and 81 kilograms of remains of radiographs;

80.4 of fluorescent tubes.

Finally, 2500 liters of vegetable oil and 1.800 kg of aerosols and 84,100 kilograms Ni-Cd batteries are collected.

The schedule of the municipal ecopark is, in winter from Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:30;

and in summer, from 9:30 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 21:30 (until 15 September);

and Saturday from 9:00 to 14:30 hours throughout the year.
