The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, will raise a motion to the full regular October in which it is proposed to change the name of the current plaza "Eduardo Chillida" by "Place of the Brotherhood of the kiss of Judas," which is where the house of this local fraternity of Holy Week in the urbanization "El Parral" is located, according to local sources reported in a statement.
The motion of the Mayor aims to give the name of a public space of the city to this brotherhood, responding to the letter presented last September 7 by check to the City Council.
As stated in the letter sent to the Mayor, "this idea arises from the current policy of brotherhood in order to make it easier to locate the headquarters of the fraternity as the space in question."
