The facade of the main building of the City of Totana last night lit green like many other buildings in the region and Spain to claim the full inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities into society.
Green is the new color that represents the struggle of these people and their thousands of relatives because the movement of the Federation of Organizations for Persons with Intellectual Disapacidad (FEAPS) adopts in its new image, which is also accompanied by a change of name.
FEAPS includes more than 235,000 associations throughout Spain and 26 in the region, one of which is Totan, in this case the Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped of Totana (PADISITO).
Now, after 50 years of history, the movement changes its brand FEAPS, in collaboration with numerous local and regional administrations.
Full inclusion is the new name for FEAPS chosen by the persons with intellectual disabilities
This change comenzazó in the Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid and lit buildings like the City Council, the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia or the Tower of Hercules in A Coruña, to give some examples.
In the Region of Murcia, Totana City Council also Moneo Building lit up with the City of Murcia, Belluga Square in the capital;
the Palace Hall of Cartagena;
the facades of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Bridge of Snakes Rambla Eagles.
