The PP asked in Parliament that keeps the 50 percent reduction in the rates of the terraces (23/09/2015)

The Municipal People ask to stay for the next two years the 50 percent reduction in the rates of the terraces as a measure to help hoteliers in Totana.

The Popular Party of Totana has always considered to be working hand in hand with the productive sectors in order to create the appropriate framework allowing companies that are located in our town can grow and produce wealth which also affect the maintenance of jobs.

The hospitality sector, as professionals have continually moved the same to the Popular Party, has been one of the most affected by the smoking ban, so that entrepreneurs are betting on the terrace in their business throughout the year with due adaptation, which is or has meant new investments

Since the entry into force of the smoking ban and as support measures in times of crisis, from the municipality governed by the Popular Party has been approved from 2012 to 2015, the bonus of 50 percent of the fees for occupation -street for terraces that are paid annually.

The Popular Party considers it necessary to continue this support measure adopted since 2012 to further support the hospitality industry, which has repercussions on the economy and social life of Totana.
