Totana City Council welcomes two young people from the "Eurydice" program to carry out training work practices (05/06/2015)

The Department for Employment and Youth report that Totana Town Council has participated in the "Eurodyssey program" in its call for 2015, by request of two positions to be filled by young Europeans for training labor practices in the Consistory.

"Eurydice" was a program created by the Assembly of European Regions (AER) which aims to enable young Europeans, aged between 18 and 30 years of age, have a formative stay in a European region, by conducting professional training and practices.

Given the importance of this initiative for the vocational training of young Europeans, Totana Town Council has included this program in the "Local Employment Plan 2015" and its "Youth Employment Plan", with the aim of facilitating access youth into the labor market.

According to sources of these councils, the jobs offered by the City Council are the "entrepreneur-Business Advisor" and "tourist Informer".

In both cases, the realization of these training work practices will last for five months and will take place at the Centre for Local Development and the Office of Tourism, respectively.

The main objective of "Eurydice" is to provide young people from the participating regions in it, any professional experience and, in turn, give them the opportunity to learn a foreign language or improve their knowledge about it.

For this reason, the mayors of Youth Employment and acting, Maria Jose Baeza and Bartholomew Pallares, totaneros encourage all young people interested in conducting training practices abroad, to participate in it.

To do this, they will have to create your profile on the website www.eurodyssee.net, verifying what are the offers available, choosing the most suitable for them and presenting their candidacies.

The acting mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, recently signed the agreement of cooperation for the realization of the practices at City Hall with the two foreign students (France and Portugal) and offered them a simple reception at City Hall.
