More than 2,000 posters with the traditional image of Santa Eulalia collect religious events which start on December 8 with the Pilgrimage (13/11/2014)

Religious acts of feasts in honor of St. Eulalia tear on Monday December 8 with the pilgrimage down the landlady who will be joined by thousands of residents and visitors to its arrival at the resort.

The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and the pastor of Santiago El Mayor, José Ruiz, presented the religious activities held from 8 to January 7 and which are reflected in more than 2,000 posters with the traditional image of Santa Eulalia .

On Monday the 8th, from 8 am Mass farewell to the Employer will be held in the sanctuary and then Espuña transfer takes place on a pilgrimage to the city;

where over 12 hours, the image will be received by the authorities and the people in the place of "The Roller" before being transferred to the chapel of San Roque.

On Tuesday, the 9th, at 12 am, Mass is celebrated in the chapel of San Roque;

and evening, at 17 hours, will transfer the processional image of Santa from the chapel to the parish of Santiago.

New this year the Serenade in honor of Santa Eulalia is ahead at 21:30, since many people have requested that this event takes place earlier.

This time will be the friends of La Habanera and Los Charrasqueado that delight audiences.

The feast of Santa Eulalia, December 10, will begin at 11 pm with the Eucharistic celebration in the temple of Santiago, chaired by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes.

In the afternoon, as is traditional, the procession will depart from 17:00 from the church of Santiago El Mayor.

The floral offering to the patron will be on Sunday the 14th, with the concentration at noon at the Glorieta del Convento and subsequent procession towards the Plaza de la Constitution.

The solemn novena in honor of St. Eulalia be held from 11 to 19 December at 19:30 and holidays at 18 am, and preach Pedro Tudela Lopez, pastor of St. Benedict of Murcia.

As usual, as explained by the pastor, a special appeal to the solidarity of the people of Totana is done with food.

La Patrona remain in Totana until January 7, will return in pilgrimage to her sanctuary after Mass to be held at 8 pm in the parish church of Santiago El Mayor.
