Totana will receive a total of 342,463.68 euros through the Employment District Councils to combat unemployment and contribute to the development of rural areas of the municipality, as reported by the Councillor for Employment, María José Baeza, who has advance that 117 people will be hired.
The grant, part of the "Rural Development Initiative in Local Authorities", aims, combat unemployment farm favoring the employment of these workers in emerging activities in agriculture, by conducting a series of labor actions that contribute also to the enhancement and the endogenous development of the most deprived in the Region of Murcia rural areas.
Under this grant called "Employment District Councils" may hire a total of 117 people in three shifts of two different months, from October to March respectively.
