The Royal Spanish Table Tennis Federation has published the composition of groups of national categories for the upcoming season that, for the fifth consecutive year, Totana have representation on the 2nd National Division.
This season our team has been drawn in Group 9 which will consist of teams from the provinces of Almería (1) Murcia (3), Alicante (4) and Valencia (3).
The group shall be composed of eleven teams.
These are the ten teams that will accompany totaneros: Huercal-Roquetas TM, TM Alicante, Alcoy CTM, CTM Dama de Elche, TT Xativa, Burjassot-Valencia Club, CTM Aspe, Alzira TT Metro, Floymape UCAM Cartagena and Hotel Felix Eliocroca Lorca.
A priori the team to beat will be the CTM Alcoy descended from 1st National last season and want to retrieve the category soon.
They also aspire to the squares above teams Elche, Aspe and Floymape UCAM Cartagena which amounted last season without defeat.
The aim of the club Totana TM, plus the budget required to cover, once again, has to be to keep this national search.
