The Department of Education and Social Care, the AMPAS schools and Caritas Totana push again this year for the second consecutive time, the organization of a Bank Textbook for the course 2014/2015 to allow help Schoolgirl School of disadvantaged families in the municipality.

This project aims to organize a Textbook Bank, in which the students who complete this course can deposit their books to be used by other school and pick up the following year.

In addition, intended to gather textbooks of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of Primary Education that are in good condition and in current editions, ie, less than four years old.

Proponents of this project encouraged parents of students to leave textbooks in schools through the AMPAS coinciding with the end of the school year so that the next academic year 2014/15 no school without these educational resources and not differentiating elements are generated in the classroom.

The heads of Caritas work advocated awareness and use of resources and reuse them from a broader vision to be the more families benefit because, increasingly existing needs are greater in this regard.

They reiterated the need for users to move textbooks to Caritas or directly to the AMPAS to channel the demands of school.

The mayor of Education said that this initiative is the result of the meetings they have held for the last quarter of the City, the educational community of Totana and Caritas;

and explained that in addition to helping families cope with the financial burden of returning to school year also committed to reuse and recycling of books and promote the values ​​of solidarity.
