More than 300,000 euros for 19 parking day center for mentally ill in Totana (23/05/2014)

The Governing Council has authorized the Murciano Institute for Social Action (IMAS) to extend until December 2015 the contract with the city of Totana 19 seats in the day center for people with mental illness, amounting to 310,602 euros.

The objective of this initiative is to provide comprehensive care to maintain or improve the level of personal autonomy of dependent people and support families or caregivers.

This service is provided in the Municipal Center Day of People with Mental Illness "Princess Letizia."

In addition to custodial care, users receive therapies to encourage and promote personal autonomy and, consequently, improve their quality of life.
