The Association of Civil Protection Volunteers of Totana open next Friday, March 28, at 17:30, a new facility in the premises of the former CEIP "The Cross" of the town, on Avenida Santa Eulalia, which have been upgraded for the provision of emergency services.
Civil Protection has remained for years in a facility located in the old IES "Juan de la Cierva" in Lorca Avenue.
The old classrooms conditioning units were as different as the Operational Coordination Center of Municipal Emergency (CECOPAL), administrative spaces, bedrooms, store, gym, toilets and showers, among other agencies.
One of the spaces will be dedicated to volunteer for Civil Defence, Antonio Serrano Lopez, who passed away on March 7 after a long illness.
The event will be attended by regional and local authorities in Totana.
