The mayor requests to the Government a delegation of National Police Commissioner (27/06/2013)

The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, has asked the Government Delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, in his last work meeting held yesterday a delegation of the National Police Station in this city in order to reinforce the strength of the Forces State Security in this county.

In fact, the House will debate today at its regular meeting, a motion in which the Mayor will require the Ministry of Interior funding a National Police Station in Totana in order to strengthen and improve the quality services in the field of Public Safety provided by the State Security Forces in this county.

As explained by the mayor, the town of Totana has experienced in the last decade population growth as ever in its history, surpassing the figure of 30,000, as a result of the phenomenon of immigration.

In addition, he said, the Consistory seeks to create a delegation of the National Police Station security and administrative matters related to the issuance of passport and immigration issues, among others.

The Full Council of Totana and requested through a motion of the Mayor, unanimously approved in January 2003 the Home Office funding a National Police Station in Totana.
