City officials and representatives of the contractor pledged last night during an informational meeting with parents of CEIP "Regional-Deitania" to the extension work of the school are completed for the start of next school year 2013/14.
The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Councilwoman Municipal Services and Infrastructure, María José Bedia, gathered in the plenary hall, along with the company responsible for "Asphalt Pavement Lario, SL", to account the state of implementation in that this infrastructure is and explain the reasons for the delay of the same.
Both sides secured their interest in the compliance with established deadlines coinciding with the start of the next school year so that they can be occupied classrooms.
The redevelopment of the CEIP "Regional-Deitania" were awarded an amount in excess of EUR 480,000 and to extend the existing premises of the school, so as to build four classrooms of primary education, a classroom for a small group, tutorial, teacher and student toilets and a store for cleaning, respectively.
This project has had significant administrative delay and execution by the resignations of previous successful tenderers.
