The City Council and Caritas Educational Community unite to launch a Bank Textbook Exchange for the course 2013/2014.

This project aims to organize a bank, in which the end of a course students can deposit their books to be used by other children and collect the next course, if the book bank has them.

This project has been submitted by the Councillor for Education and Social Care, Josefa Maria Sanchez, and the heads of parishes paths Caritas, the school AMPA Santiago, and Santiago school teacher, who has expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative which will benefit families with school-age children.

The mayor of Education explained that in addition to helping families cope with the financial burden of returning to school, it is also committed to recycling books and foster care from the school to the working material throughout the year.

Sanchez Mendez indicated that for the time involved in the project schools in Santiago, La Cruz, Deitania, and San Jose and is aimed at the ongoing 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of primary education.

Parents can leave their textbooks from 24 to 28 June and from 2 to 6 September and AMPA be provided in the event that possible, the books they need for next year.
