The College District Deitania AMPA requires the council the completion of the works of four classrooms for the start of school year 2013-2014 (07/06/2013)

"The Association of Parents Deitania CEIP had with the city of Totana various meetings, highlighting in particular which took place on June 6, 2013 with the Mayor and the Councillor for Education of the City of Totana, to manifest their discomfort and concern for the excessive slowness with which they are developing the works of four classrooms in the school and the urgent need for such facilities for the start of the 2013-2014 school year.

This claim is not new, since younger children, early childhood education, are suffering this situation the last five years being housed in portable classrooms, whose isolation is not effective as it suffers leaks in the rainy season and excessive cold or heat depending on the season.

Moreover, the situation of the school is in a sorry state, where most of the courtyard is occupied by works that hinder children's activities, represent a source of danger despite being marked and cause a lack of space for recreation of children.

The PTA Council has demanded the need for these classrooms for the start of next school year, as the Lady Mayoress promised to perform this necessary expansion at the same time that construction of the new school of the Cross, so that would have been the new classrooms completed by September 2012.

Now, almost a year later, but remains the same commitment and willingness by the City, there is no certainty of completion and immediately start running. "
