The Study Room Sociocultural Center "Jail" extends its hours during exam time and enabled a multipurpose room to respond to as many students these days using municipal offices.
It was passed in Parliament yesterday unanimously by all political groups PSOE's motion requesting this extension of time.
Sources of the Culture Department report that the study room will expand its hours on Saturday afternoons and Sunday all day.
Has also been made available to students a multipurpose room in the Jail, as the influx of students during this time causes the capacity of the room is insufficient study.
So Saturday and Sunday will open this municipal service from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:30 to 22:30 hours.
Services offered to students
Totana has a number of cultural facilities and events that showcase the general but more specifically and at exam time, are frequented by a large number of students.
Sociocultural Center Jail Library
Services provided:
-Loan and return of library materials and audiovisual.
Reading-room / study.
-Access to new technologies.
Meat-Processing library.
Hours: January to June and September to December.
Monday to Friday mornings from 9:30 to 14:00 and afternoons 17:00 to 20:00 h.
July, from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 14:00 hours (closed afternoon).
During July the book loan is increased to 5 per person with a duration in the availability of two months.
Sociocultural Center Study Room "Jail".
Hours: January to December.
Monday to Friday mornings from 9:00 to 14:00 h.
Afternoons from 16:30 to 22:30 hours Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00 hours.
Reading Center and Abbey José María Munuera
Services:
- Use of premises for the conduct of activities of various kinds nonprofit organized by public or private entities.
Reading-room / study and consultation.
-Access to new technologies (Reading Center offers computer room) with free internet access.
- No loan / return of books.
Hours: evenings from January to June and September to December.
Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 21:00 hours, and July and August closed.
Paretón Reading Center
Hours: January to June and September to December.
Wednesday from 17:00 to 20:00 h.
July and August closed.
Services:
Reading-room / study and literature search.
-Access to new technologies.
- No loan / return of books.
The service issue and return of books in Paretón is done through the Service Regional Library Bookmobile.
Location: In front Guadalentin Grouped Rural Public School. - C / Schools s / n
Days and Hours: One Monday a month from 12:00 to 14:15 except for the months of July and August.
