The Consulate of Ecuador in Murcia held last March 8 the Working Women's Day with a ceremony and tribute, which took place at a popular hotel in Murcia city.
Doña Cecilia Erique, Consul of Ecuador in Murcia, was in charge of making delivery to different men and women who have excelled in the Equality unconditional support while have managed to show that the road to women's active participation in all social spheres is closer.
Among women the figure stood awarded Dr. Cielito Queen Dona, leading physician at the University of Cartagena.
The large audience and representatives of social groups and associations could engage in an act which gave out awards and recognition plaques, and enjoyed with traditional folk performances in Latin America, and Spanish wine tasting later.
Bethlehem Muñiz, Municipal Socialist Party councilor, came to the ceremony in which other officials were also present regional Socialists, led by Begoña García Retegui and Beniaján Mayor, the popular Francisco Hernandez.
