The Local Police participates in awareness workshops and training on specialized care for women victims of domestic violence (27/12/2012)

Local Police Totana participated in the "training and awareness workshops with the Security Forces of Totana" with the aim of sensitizing both, advise as to inform the Action Protocol on Gender Violence in the City Totana, and resources in the Region of Murcia.

The Specialty Care Center for Women Victims of Domestic Violence (CAVI) is a free public service of the City of Totana dependent under agreement with the Ministry of Presidency of the Region of Murcia, in particular DG Violence Prevention Gender and Youth reform.

Since its launch in 2008, works to combat the situation of abuse suffered or may suffer Totana women, and try to eliminate any obstacles preventing the return or acquisition of a normal situation, both in their personal and social life as well and promote public awareness totanera and professionals working in the field.
